Paul Baker

Paul qualified from Kings College School of Dentistry in 1992. He spent two and a half years working in hospital in oral and maxillofacial surgery before entering general practice. In 1996, he started a part-time MSc in Periodontology at UMDS (Guys Hospital), which he completed in 1998. He continued on to study the newly created Master of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) degree, achieving a distinction in July 2000. Around the same time he passed the Fellowship in Dental Surgery and Membership in Restorative Dentistry examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and became one of the first dentists in the UK to gain a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training for Periodontology at the end of the 2000. Paul works in Specialist Practice in the West of London, limited to Periodontology and Implant Surgery. He has run hands on courses in various aspects of periodontics and led surgical masterclasses for the British Society of Periodontology. He has contributed chapters to two current Periodontology text books.
